What I Will Stand For

I am running to be one voice on a five-member board — but I will be a prepared, accountable, and people-first voice. Every decision I make will be for the people of Lake County — all of it, every corner, every community.

01

INFRASTRUCTURE & SMART GROWTH

Growth is inevitable. Chaos is not.

Lake County is growing — and that is not a bad thing. But growth without infrastructure is chaos. Every new subdivision that goes up needs roads that can handle the traffic, schools that can handle the students, and emergency services that can handle the calls. Right now we are falling behind. I will push the board to build infrastructure before or alongside development — not years after the fact.

What I will advocate for:

  • Infrastructure built before or alongside development — not years later

  • Developer impact fees that actually fund roads, schools, and emergency services

  • Road and traffic solutions across all of Lake County — because growth is happening countywide and every community deserves relief

  • Fire and EMS staffing that keeps pace with population growth

02

GOVERNMENT MODERNIZATION

County services must work as fast as our growth.

Lake County is growing at a modern pace — but some of our county processes and systems have not kept up. Permitting delays, outdated technology, and slow communications cost residents and businesses time and money. I will advocate for a county government that works as efficiently as the people it serves.

What I will advocate for:

  • Modernize county processes, permitting, and technology systems

  • Data-driven performance dashboards for transparent accountability

  • Streamlined services so residents and businesses get faster results

  • Innovation in how county government communicates with and serves residents

03

HONORING OUR COMMUNITY'S ROOTS

Protect the essence that made people want to live here.

The people who built Lake County — the long-time families, the farmers, the small business owners, the neighbors who have been here for generations — deserve a commissioner who remembers that they were here first and honors what they built. Growth should add to this county's character, not erase it.

What I will advocate for:

  • Long-time residents, farmers, and local families have a seat at the table

  • Protect green space, tree canopies, lakes, and natural beauty

  • Support local small businesses as the heart of our communities — ensuring growth brings opportunity without displacing the character that makes Lake County home

  • Zoning that preserves neighborhood character alongside new development

04

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY

Your tax dollars should work as hard as you do.

Every dollar in the county budget belongs to the residents of Lake County. It should be spent with discipline, transparency, and purpose. I will come to every budget discussion prepared — asking the hard questions and standing firm to make sure your tax dollars are never wasted.

What I will advocate for:

  • No unnecessary tax increases on residents and families

  • Every dollar tracked with accountability and transparency

  • Smart budget management driven by data, not politics

  • Relief for seniors on fixed incomes squeezed by rising costs

05

PUBLIC SAFETY

More people means more need, not less support.

As Lake County grows, our demand for public safety services grows with it. More residents means more calls, more roads, more neighborhoods that need to feel safe. Our first responders do extraordinary work — and they deserve the resources, staffing, and support to keep doing it as this county expands.

What I will advocate for:

  • Full funding and support for law enforcement and first responders

  • Fire and EMS staffing that matches our growing population

  • Response times that do not get worse as neighborhoods expand

  • Safe roads and well-lit infrastructure for every resident

06

HEALTHCARE ACCESS & SENIORS

I know what healthcare failure looks like. I lived it.

I watched my family fight for healthcare access. I drove to Gainesville because a major hospital in Miami shut the door on us. I worked from my mother's ICU bedside during a pandemic. I know what it means to need care and not be able to get it close to home. No Lake County resident should face that. Not a senior. Not a family. Not anyone.

What I will advocate for:

  • Advocate for expanded healthcare access across all of Lake County — because no resident should have to drive far to get the care they need

  • Support senior services and aging-in-place resources

  • Ensure growth includes healthcare infrastructure, not just housing

  • Protect the dignity and quality of life of our seniors and caregivers

The skills I bring to this race are not theoretical. They are proven. I am running to be one voice on a five-member board — but I will be a prepared, accountable, and people-first voice. I know how to build things that work, fix things that are broken, and deliver results that people can actually see and feel. That is what I will stand for every single time I sit at that table.

"Your Neighbor. Your Commissioner. Our Lake County.”

One Prepared Voice. People First. Every Time.
